Terms of service
These terms outline COL Store Ltd’s (“us”, ”we”, or “our”) general terms of sale, which you (“you”, “your”, the “customer”, or “customers”) agree to enter into upon making a purchase with us.
Definitions
“Purchase” meaning items detailed on the purchase receipt or invoice.
“Damage”, or “damaged” meaning breakages sustained during transit of goods and not any aged-related wear, repair etc. as detailed under clause ‘Conditions, Descriptions and Guarantees’ or damage inflicted by the customer.
Conditions, Descriptions and Guarantees
All items sold by us are second-hand, typically 20+ years old; as a result items sold by us are susceptible to age-related wear/deterioration, patina or in some cases may have some restoration or repairs. We make every effort to provide detailed descriptions and photography, noting age-related wear, and any specific damage, restoration or repairs however product descriptions may not be exhaustive. Customers should expect some signs of age-related wear on any second-hand items purchased from us and accept that all items are ‘sold as seen’.
As we are not the manufacturer of any of the items we sell, we cannot provide performance or safety guarantees.
In our product photography we endeavour to document the items exactly as they are, however please be aware that there may be slight variances in colour representation depending on the calibration of the screen the product is viewed on.

Shipping
All items are available for shipping throughout the UK and we aim to dispatch orders twice weekly.
For smaller pieces collection can also be arranged free of charge on weekdays between 9:30am — 6:30pm from Peckham, London. If collection is available this option will be shown at checkout.
For most items shipping costs are calculated upon checkout (UK only), however please note for some larger items it may be necessary for us to provide a bespoke quotation — if this is the case it will be stated on the listing.
International shipping can be arranged, please contact us on info@col.store to request a quotation.
Import Duties & Taxes
Please bear in mind that international shipments may incur import duties and taxes in addition to the shipping charges. Import duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer, including all costs relating to these. International shipping quotations provided by us are for shipping charges only, due to the complexity of import charges, amounts due can only be determined by the receiving country upon import.
Damage In Transit
In the unlikely event that your purchase is damaged during transit, the customer must immediately photograph the damage and all packaging and is required to email these to us at info@col.store within 48 hours of receiving the damaged item.
Customers are also required to retain all original packaging until we have confirmed that the damage has been logged. Once the damage has been logged, we will arrange for the damaged item to be collected from you and will provide a full refund once it has been returned and has been received by us.
The customer is responsible for complying with these conditions in order to ensure a refund can be issued.
If the customer arranges a collection, it is at their own risk. COL is not liable for any damage incurred after the item has been handed over to the customer during collection.
Returns
We hope you love your purchase, however returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery provided the item/s are returned in the same condition they were sold.
To ensure appropriate insurance coverage, all returns must be processed through COL’s shipping provider, with all shipping costs payable by the customer upfront. Please note that all shipping charges are non-refundable.
Secure packaging including use of original packing materials is required for valid insurance on returns. Failure to comply will void the insurance. In such cases, the customer is responsible for any transit damage, which will regrettably void refund eligibility.
Items can be returned free of charge by scheduling a drop off in Peckham, London on weekdays between 9:30am — 6:30pm.

Pricing & Payments
All items are priced and sold in British Sterling (GBP).
We accept payment via, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and the following credit/debit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro and Diners Club.
For Trade orders we can accept payment via bank transfer. Please email us to arrange this, and we can provide you with an invoice. Please note purchases are only marked as ‘sold’ and released for delivery once the payment has been received in full.
Please note that if you choose to pay in a different currency, your payment may be subject to currency conversion fees or charges imposed by your payment provider or financial institution. These fees are not within our control, and we recommend checking with your payment provider for details on any applicable charges.
Force Majeure
Our compliance with obligations under these terms may be affected by events beyond our reasonable control. If so, performance of such obligations will be postponed until such time as those circumstances cease to exist. We are not liable to you if we fail to comply with these terms because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Privacy & Security
We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. We adhere to data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable, to ensure the confidentiality and security of your data.
Your information will only be used for legitimate business purposes, such as processing payments, order fulfilment, and improving your customer experience. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
If you have opted into our newsletter, relevant information will be safely stored and used for the purposes of contacting you with relevant COL Store marketing information only.
