Abstract artwork by British artist Ron Hitchins, comprising of 28 handmade terracotta tiles.
Each tile is unique and the unglazed terracotta has developed a lovely patina.
The designs are inspired by Aztec art, each tile individually handcrafted at Hitchins' Hackney home and fired from a kiln in his basement.
The tiles are inset within a handcrafted wooden frame and the artwork is signed in pen to the reverse.
In good vintage condition with some age related wear — notably one tiny nick to a tile, but nothing which detracts from the beauty of the piece. Please refer to photos.
