Large ceramic abstract sculpture by Dutch ceramic artist Hilbert Boxem (c.1970).
A playful piece, formed of two parts, which can be arranged in varying compositions — some compositions creating the illusion of a third part.
The form has a graphic feel to it, which is reflected in the glaze — two contrasting blocks of colour in a blue-grey and off-white with blue-grey flecks.
In good vintage condition — one small chip to the reverse of the smaller part, however this doesn’t detract from the piece. Please refer to the photos.
