Hayes’ creation process is intuitively led, allowing the form to emerge as he works. Shaped and sculpted directly in clay, the body takes on the character of stone after firing — dense, heavy, and robust.
A one-of-a-kind artwork, signed and dated to the base.
In very good vintage condition, with some age-related wear — notably two tiny chips, nothing that detracts from the piece.
