A wonderful display plate (c.1960) by British studio ceramicist Ray Finch, created during his time running Winchcombe Pottery.
The glaze combines a tenmoku and teadust glaze with kaki pours — achieving 'crystallised' specks of yellow-gold throughout and an abstract splash from the kaki pour across the centre.
It is in excellent vintage condition and is stamped to the base.
