Large kinetic abstract sculpture (20th century) by French artist Thierry Dufourmantelle.
Formed of four parts — a large frame and three suspended elements, creating subtle movement. Constructed from steel and concrete — contrasting robust materials with the sculpture’s delicate composition.
The concrete is coloured with softly pigmented hues — pastel yellow, turquoise, and blue.
Dufourmantelle originally trained as an architect and worked in theatre set design, influencing his artistic exploration of structure and movement.
Signed to the base.
In very good vintage condition, with some age-related wear.
